A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory. A far-off memory that's like a scattered dream. I wanna line the pieces up--- yours and mine.

Things got interesting, once Link learned the upthrust technique in Zelda 2. Artist Sang Han took his love of the game and created this bloody beautiful piece.

It’s a lot of Mario packed into one massive piece of fan art by Ken Wong. Various sized gallery-quality giclée prints ($20-$80) are now available at inPRNT.

Only some slight modifications at first glance. But what they seemed to do with the SNES version is take this single piece of artwork which was deliberately composed to put the focus on the heroic Samus and her action of escaping the menacing Kraid and Ridley while firing back at them, and attempt to recreate it by copy-pasting a bunch of pieces of concept art of the individual characters within the cramped space of the horizontal box. The path of her shot even seems to be doing a bit of M.C. Escher business around Ridley’s hand before awkwardly landing on his chin, and I’m not even sure that Ridley was drawn by the same artist, there’s no way he was originally that bright shade of red at least.

Also let’s just throw in some Kriad toes and fat belly for good measure. Just perfectly so the trademark symbol looks like his belly button.

LOL.  Best worst game cover art ever
